Guest guest
Carol, Don't let this go on too much longer. It sounds as if your Internist is the only one trying to help you as best he can. Don't blame yourself either. I have found that some docs will try and make it look like you did something wrong or didn't follow his orders exactly and then blame you. Even if the fault was his own. I have had expierence in this, both as a patient and what I have seen docs say and do (or not do) to other people. Stand strong, don't doubt yourself. When it comes to pain, it is very subjective. In other words, no one understands the pain level you feel. Everyone perceives pain differently. That is why hospitals use a pain scale (0 to 10 with 0 being none and 10 being the absolute worse pain you have ever had). It is just like with the RA and FM, unless you are going through it, you won't get it. Know that you have a family here that empathizes with you and are here to support you.
