I never got this notice in my mail !!! Lucky someone else sent it to me

! Looks like we're gonna lose our chat room, guys !! We dont use it very

much right now, but it was nice to have !! I can afford $42 a year to

keep it ! Its a shame, sooo many things that were free arent anymore !

Changes are happening at Talk City.

Over the last few years we've provided you with a chat room as part of

our free services. The program was successful beyond our wildest

expectations and we ended up with over 100,000 chat@talkcity rooms -- so

many rooms that we had to stop creating new ones. As you can imagine,

managing those rooms is a big effort. To make life simpler, for both you

and us, we are making some changes to the chat@talkcity program. If you

want a free chat room, you can keep one by creating a club at

http://www.talkcity.com/clubs. Clubs may be made public or private at

your discretion.[NL][NL]If, instead, you want to have complete control

over your room, as you have in the past, you will need to register your

room with Talk City. To make sure we can maintain a high level of

service, we will charge a registration fee for this service of $3.50 per

month or $42 per year. You'll have your room created, hosted on the Talk

City web servers 24/7, and listed in the Talk City rooms list if you

choose.[PARA]Signups for subscription will not begin until July 16th. We

will send you another email when the signup process is active.

Payments for the subscription service will be accepted with either a

Visa/Mastercard or through PayPal. If you do not have an account at

PayPal, you can get one at: http://www.paypal.com We will keep your

chat@talkcity room operating through July 31st,2001. At that point, we

will close the room unless you have subscribed to keep the room active.
