Guest guest
Not exactly. There is a Physical therapist in my office complex that I have partnered with for my weight loss class. For everyone in the class he does a functional fitness evaluation to help them know their weak areas, exercises they should or shouldn't do. I pay him $50/patient for this, and it takes about 30 min per patient of his time. He also gives the exercise talk, and what to look for in a gym or trainer. When he does the screenings he will generally find at least one person9 out ot 6-8) who needs PT, some unmentioned issue that they haven't gone over with me. I then see them, and do a referral for PT if I agree. He has personal trainers there and hopes that the some portion of the rest will work with a personal trainer there, some do, most don't. But this is an added beneft to them, and it helps take away the "everytime I exercise I hurt myself" excuse, as he reviews with them, things that they should and shouldn't do to start, and to build up to. That is as far as I've gone.
