Guest guest
Hello, My wife ( age 47 ) has been diagnosed with RA which may be related to an earlier Lyme disease infection. She underwent extensive antibiotic therapy to treat the Lyme, and is now taking Enbrel ( sp? ) which seems to be providing significant relief from joint pain. Her fore-feet have become quite disfigured. She recently consulted an orthopedic foot surgeon who recommended a reconstructive foot surgery to restore functionality and relieve pain. Has anyone on this group had a reconstructive foot surgery performed on themselves or someone they know? I'm curious to hear about anyone's experience with this procedure. Thanks, ( husband of ) rasufferer
