Guest guest
Hi Hanle, Thanks for posting this - so here's a few thoughts - keep going and do the turnarounds - and rather than using " I " , use " 6 year old Hanle " . 6 year old Hanle should not have saved the kittens Why might it be better that she didn't save them - for her and them? I should have saved / save 6 year old Hanle How is this true? I also hear that your mother was kind and compassionate - she heard you screaming and asked for you to be taken away from this - to save you from it. Also, other suggestions are: 1. Do a worksheet on the family members - what you thought of them, etc. 2. Write out your beliefs about the kittens, including 'they were begging for help " , " they suffered " , " they needed rescued " , etc. 3. Do a worksheet on " 6 year old Hanle " , maybe including what stopped 6 year old Hanle saving the kittens - any beliefs about what might have happened, etc. Lastly, just a noticing - Hanle was 6 years old and you are making up that it would have been better for the kittens if they had lived. I'm not saying this is untrue, but can you absolutely know that it is true, that it would have been better for the kittens if they had lived? Great work Hanle - just keep noticing those emotions and what's behind them.
