Greetings ya'll. Bit of a rough first week for me trying to find a spot around

the fire. Although I read and enjoyed quite a few postings during the week, I

was only able to respond to a few due to time restraints. I have time on the

weekend, but it's a bit of a handicap - too much times goes by and the relivency

fades as new topics come and go. I'll cry you a river.

I've had an interesting experience in the last couple of months and I'm curious

whether or not any of you have had similar ones. For years and years I've had

two recurrent anxiety dreams, not the same dreams, but based on the same themes.

Don't worry, I won't bore you by recounting any of them. The theme of one of

them is being left out. For instance: friends and/or family off to some fun

event, everyone laughing and having a good time, but of course I'm not invited.

After waking up from yet another one of these dreams I'd had enough. I

litterally cussed out my unconscious, something to the effect of " Alright

already, I get the message. Do you have to keep beating me over the head with

it? Is this the best you can do? Have you run out of material? You suck,

etcetrea, etcetra.

It worked! I haven't had another one of those dreams going on two months now.

In fact it worked so well I tried it out the next time I had my other recurrent

anxiety dream. It worked again.

On the other hand I've been trying for years to steer my dreams into subjects of

my choice with no success at all. Has anyone else had any success at either of

these?
