I have been trying to get help from PF to download reports into an excel format. They tell me there is an icon in the right to do that but I cannot find it. Any help out there? I just realized this only happens when you run a patient report. The button does not appear for any other kind of report Izquierdo-Porrera MD PhDExecutive Director & Co-founderCare for Your Health, IncPhone Fax www.care4yourhealth.org " Don't ever let injustice go by unchallenged. You have to click on the " Reports " tab, then choose (ie. double click on) " Patient Lists " in order to see the " Export " button. I don't see the " Export " button available for any other Report type. I have been using it since I opened my door April 2011. Happy with Practice Fusion and billing interface with Kareo. The local independent physicians here formed a Corp ( 150+ physician ) and PF told us in a demo they were working on chart sharing, available in the near future. No detail on that yet.

No financial interest. Wen San Mateo, CA

I'm using PF for 3 months now and am very happy with it, especially the free

price and cloud based. Even aside from that, it is better than the dozen EMRs I

used in various rotations in med school/residency.

I use the Kareo interface. I get frustrated with it sometimes, but that is

probably mostly because I am learning how to play the games, and because I have

never used another system to compare it to...

I am doing my own billing. I find the task not too hard... it takes some

attention to detail, but it is fun to chase the $ from start to finish, and I'm

pretty sure it reaps benefits in terms of being able to troubleshoot

quickly....and it allows me to have 100% collections.

Debra's point about billing directly is taken - I may consider that at some

point....it is just that my state (Colorado) Medicaid requires use of their web

entry portal which is very cumbersome and time wasting, worth $200 per month to

avoid...

Regarding multiple users at once: We only have 2 users, and we do step on each

others toes sometimes. I mean, there is a lag time of a few seconds to refresh,

which sometimes bites us...maybe it is because we are so small that we are both

working on the same patient at the same time.

No error message, and the program doesnt crash.

If 2 users are in the exact same area, eg entering patient demographics on the

same patient, then it will pick which one to favor (probably whoever was there

first, eg my MA), then anything I enter gets ignored. This could probably be

avoided if I just stay out of demographics and let her deal with that!

The other thing is the lag time of a few seconds, maybe up to 30 seconds... I

have to be careful to keep refreshing. Again I think these are only problems

because we are so small (MA and me), and we haven't fully separated our job

functions yet...
