Guest guest
Hi Credo, When I read your dream imagery it seemed very familiar. I think I remember a similar image of a stick in the ground in the middle of a circle in one of the hundreds of dream sequences Jung analyzes in one of his books. Nonetheless, how amazing to actually have Jung appear in a dream. I've had Albert Einstein make a guest appearance, but he's fractional in terms of influnce on my life. The christian imagery fits well, but to say that the holy ghost is a feminine energy, aren't you looking at the journey toward the self from a male perspective - the animus guiding the male consciousness on the journey of self discovery? Wouldn't a woman's guide be male? Or are you looking at it from the christian religion's collective rejection of god's feminine side. Just as amazing is religion's rejection of humor - no less important than love or fear when it comes to the glue of our reality. Wasn't that the theme of the movie The Name of the Rose? The monks are being poisioned to keep them from revealing that god has a sense of humor? It's been many years. I could be wrong. I'll have to see if I rent or download it.Also, don't you picture the journey toward the self as more of a decaying spiril instead of a straight radius? Every force in nature is cyclonic.
