SCC/Flu is here/don't put off vaccine too long!

Dear All,

I was going to be getting my flu shot on Monday, but I can't now. I

have the flu! I knew I wasn't feeling well, but thought it was the

weather changes, or my sinus infection trying to come back. It isn't. It's definitely the flu.

Please don't assume that small flu outbreaks won't occur in any part of

the U.S. before the predicted timetable. That is just an educated

guess, and not gospel. Believe me, I know!

Yersterday was rough, but I assumed it was just what I had mentioned

before and pressed on. (Got new contacts and glasses.) Today is

lousy! Pounding headache, sore throat, cough (yeah -- oh great!),

sinus mess, body aches, chills, and 101-degree+ fever -- to name a few.

I'm in Nashville, TN, and my flu definitely did not wait on anyone's

timetable!

Get your shots as soon as you possibly can!! This thing is sneaky! And trust me -- you do not want it!!

You may not hear from me for a little while; depends on how I'm

feeling, of course. I just had to warn you while I still have enough

strength to do so! Be careful out there!!
