Guest guest
Addendum to post below: I also got all of my initial EMS training at a school called Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, by a guy that was about to begin Med. School. I think his name was . Some of you may have heard of him. Guess I am a little biased. Later. JKO [texasems-L] MDs, DOs, and so forth The questions has been posed with regard to emergency medicine: "What about DOs?" A No Brainer! MDs and DOs endure the exact same requirements for licensure. They take and pass the same examinations. DOs are no less nor no more competent than their MD compatriots. I'm sickened by the discrimination that exists against DOs by many hospitals and practice groups. There is no reason for it.
