Guest guest
My front desk staff is wonderful, but, like everyone, they have their quirks which come out especially when they are overworked or overwhelmed. They have worked with the public for many years, but it is a hard job and we can all use some training updates. I realize that while they intuitively know and do a lot, that it might be helpful to have some formal training in how to handle the situation with patients when the physicians are running late, interpersonal and listening skills, and telephone etiquette. Anyone know of and have experience with such training seminars for their staff?
Guest guest
Haven't personally done one here, but periodically the medical association does one, or I get flyers. There are some online, but don't know how good they are. I've done training with Cross Country Education previously that were good, you might google them and see if they have something similar coming to a city near you… My front desk staff is wonderful, but, like everyone, they have their quirks which come out especially when they are overworked or overwhelmed.
