They're called spaghetti squash on the official looking labels that mine

come with. They're also called spaghetti squash in " Joy of Cooking " . If

you can't find one, ask the produce manager (not the pimply faced kid who

stacks tomatoes) at your store.

Is that what they're called in the store, or is that a pet name for them? Then

again, where are you? It may just be something regional that we don't get

Perhaps it's good to mention up front that the spaghetti squash can be really

tough to cut in half? Great food. Bet you'll discover they're easy to find,

you just have to know they're there.

That's why I cook 'em whole. Just remember to poke holes halfway thru so it

doesn't explode. V.

not if you nuke it first. can cook shell and all on high 6 min per pound.

I even eat the seeds, good roughage!
