Guest guest
My understanding is that the old 1500 forms had a black mark for alignment in the scanner, but the new ones just have the drop out red boxes. So, you should be able to submit the claim on plain white paper. It looks weird, but should be scanned without issue. g To: IMP < > Sent: Friday, June 1, 2012 2:01 PMSubject: Paper Claims Hello Everyone, Hope you all have a great weekend! We usually send electronic claims via gateway but there is one Insurance company: Independent Health Association that we do not have an electronic agreement and we have to submit 20 test claim (we only have one patient with this one) . So, we have to send a paper claim. I tried to print it but someone told me that I need special claims paper?? Is this true and if so, where and how do i get some? Guest guest
,You can print the form out of e-MDs, but make sure that you do not check the box that says " include form, " as you do not want it to print out. If that doesn't work, let me know, and I will mail you a stack of forms. I have an entire ream and only go through about 10/mo. Pratt Hello Everyone,Hope you all have a great weekend! Guest guest
No you can't use white paper. Tried it years ago, they need the drop out red so they can drop it out. Guest guest
You can buy the Health Insurance Claim Form 1500 online or from local store, like Office Depot. Some insurances allow fax paper claim. I often copy the colored ones, print and fax them. Wen No you can't use white paper. Tried it years ago, they need the drop out red so they can drop it out. Guest guest
Medicare is the only one that needs the special cms forms. You also have to set your computer to print in the boxes correctly. I print black and white ones and no one rejects except mcSent from my iPhone Hello Everyone,Hope you all have a great weekend!
