So far noone in my practice has voted for security over convenience. Just make it part of your new patient forms.HIPAA is about informed decisions, not absolute requirements – as I read it. Now, why didn’t they get busted for using a non secure telephone, non secure fax and walls you can hear through with a ten dollar device?
