Guest guest Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 Right now im going through a transition of meds and honstly I am really sick. My dr added oxycontin extended release and i made the mistake of taking one at night- i was up til 330 and had to fight to get to sleep. I finally did about 330-4, woke up at 12 with i wouldnt call it a head ache but almost a throbbing. I went back to sleep til about 630 and then was very sick with vommiting. I am awake now of course but i know i should give it a few days to get the new meds in system but he (my dr ) knows i have a hard time tolerating meds but he wanted o increase some things since im having so much pain from cold ect. I dont know if i mentioned but I am given the regular oxycodone/apap for breakthrough, given the oxycontin a few times a day, he increased my cymbalta and also gave me ambien. Im hoping to go and get a nerve block soon to help alleviate some of the pain. i cant wait til it gets warmer again. hope my email made snese..im a lil groggy but hope to feel better tomorrow so i can catch up on some emails.
