Guest guest
Good for you. But, why should we have to call senators/government people to get what we were supposed to get in the first place??? Don't mind me, I'm a little cranky about the whole system, etc lately! Margaret Coughlan Meaningful use  Hi Remember me and my trouble s?  Payment to an employer I left 11 yrs ago... Guest guest
True dat, Margaret! Mind if I join your Cranky Club? I've got some "Bitter Bitch Ale" from Oregon to share... When I moved my office in 2010, I ended up having to contact my congressman to get Medicare to change my address in their system after 5 months of getting nowhere. It was changed within a day and I finally got paid. Now that I am opting out of Medicare, I had to contact my biller to contact his "contact" at Medicare to find out why I haven't heard from them. "Contact" at Medicare discovered a "mistake" was made by Medicare in processing my opt out paperwork received back on 1/31/12 and that I should be hearing from them within 3 days. My opt out date is April 1.......grrrrrrrrr.Layers upon layers upon layers of useless bureaucratic fat. It is so freakishly "Atlas Srugged". It's not what you know, but who you know. Guest guest
You are both exactly right Not only layers of stuff where one hand has no idea what theother is doing, the EHR program for example is brand new run by some contract non govt workers and non one knows how anything works A poorly thought out poorly run program. So when there was a glitch no one could figure it out or let me talk to anyone who knew anything Every program I got sent to referred me to another.t IT was DEEPLY anger provoking I only posted incase it helped someone else I was disgustedNote that I called Olympia Snoew who is retiring due to the inability of Washingotn to get anything done Jean True dat, Margaret! Guest guest
Rhonda, Maybe we can use our local pull to get Sierra Nevada to make something just for us!!! perhaps a "medicinal brew". Medicare hasn't paid me anything in months thanks to some issue with me changing billers. I have NEVER received payment on several Medical patients. Me thinks I am about to look in ot my opt out options........ Dannielle To: Sent: Sun, March 25, 2012 10:10:25 PMSubject: Re: Meaningful use True dat, Margaret! Mind if I join your Cranky Club?
