Ah, but that statement is based on the logic of the circle w/centerpt [self] Div Guest w/ ego on circumference. Jung says 1] the Self is center n totality of psyche BUT dwells in the unconscious, ergo 2] needs the ego, center of consc, to eat the poached egg [make it consc.! next step is to remember 3] to share that consc consciously w/CENTER>. The poached egg is a stand-in for all the wonder of life in this manifest world!that it is logical, thinking at ego level, but the devotion of sharing is feeling.

I am NOT [i hope] lacking in thinking function, but in old age have learned the value of feeling. We need a balance of both, n'est pas?

This is what I love ab sacred geometry - it unites all 4 functions.

Dear Alice... I hope you didn't take my comments as a criticism of your

thinking abilities which i pray to have even a portion of when I'm in my

eighties. But what strikes me about your words is their compensatory value

(in the Jungian sense of feeling being = to valuing) for all the heavy

thinkers on the list.
