Looks like our movement has made quite an IMPact on South Eugene...

Just found out the newest IMP in town is

moving into the same building with me

and Leigh St. Louis!

Can anyone beat 3 IMPs in one building?

I think South Eugene must be the IMP center

of the universe!

HaHaha . . . and then I get to my office today and I have a letter

waiting for me from an internist in town who is opening an

IDEAL INTERNAL MEDICINE PRACTICE. On the letter she

provides the definition of an ideal medical practice.

I told her to get on the IMP map! Now I guess we have 8 !!

once upon a time I interviewed with Peacehealth about a job in eugene.  I didn't get it though!There is (or was) another large medicine/medical group also in town...why so many IMPS? Are those practices not meeting the needs of the community?  I though peacehealth was building their own hospital or something?

It comes down to relationship-driven care vs. production-driven care.

When given an option, most folks in town would prefer relationship-

driven medical care. So far these 8 IMPs are filling a the void.

The other large group in town is called Oregon Medical Group.
