She'll appreciate the Monkees if you explain it was their song, I'm A Believer,

that was re-made in Shrek.

.... and if she's too young to know that, have her take the last train to

sville!! ;-)

You Know you are getting old when........

I was at my new office this morning and happened to open up a browser to the

MSN.com page I use as my home page. I felt really old when the nurse, the

CMA and the receptionist at the office all responded " Who's that? " Someone

you went to school with? " when I commented that " Davey had died after

reading the breaking news headline on the MSN page about his death earlier

in the day. When I told the girls in my office that he was a Monkee, they

asked if that was what the Atlanta Zoo had named one of the 3 new baby

monkeys that have been the subject of recent news stories here in Atlanta.

I guess before long the same response will be had because all of the people

that were " big " when I was younger don't seem to even be recognizable by

today's young people.
