Follow up on our missing cash...

My husband and I determined by reviewing the books and patient accounts that out

billing person wasn't " skimming " money but borrowing it, has done so for a while

per her admission and we caught her between taking and returning. She has paid

back the money and with some mixed feelings, we have not fired her. We have

changed how our system works so only we handle the cash and the cash is always

locked and the checks are tallied and only we make deposits which adds hardly

any extra work - we just hadn't thought it through before. We'll see how it

goes.

I get the mixed feelings but am very impressed that you didn't fire her.
