Guest guest
So after what I've written about not writing out inquiries out at the moment, it seemed like a good opportunity to write one out.... No comments or feedback needed - and go for it if you want to :-) With love and thanks, Jon ------------------------------- I'd be happier if I was busy 1. True? Yes 2. Can I absolutely know this is true / that I would be happier right now? no 3. How do I react? I feel annoyed, irritated – they should have employed me full-time again this week! This thought brings me stress. 4. Who would I be without this thought? More relaxed, not pushing, trying to force things to happen Acknowledging my tiredness More at peace Breathing more fully Not seeing that I `have' to do loads of stuff today Remembering that my primary purpose is to relax, let go and enjoy life Turnarounds: I'd be happier if my thinking was less busy Yes, this is truer – thoughts racing through my head – `got to do this', `got to do that'. I'd be unhappier if I was busy Yes, this could be just as true – my head may be ready to explode with thoughts racing, plus stuff to do on top of that. Plus, I turned down a night-shift last night - I was happier to sleep than be busy. Turnarounds on " They should have employed me full-time this week " : They shouldn't have employed me full-time this week Yes, this is truer – this is reality, they haven't – why is it better, well, for one it gives me time and space to inquire into stressful thoughts like this one – also, it gives me the opportunity to walk around, think about some alternative work – to browse. I notice I now feel much more grateful for the full week of work they gave me last week, rather than simply discounting it as `not enough'.
