Guest guest
I would like to establish that I frequently assist the less unfortunate. This is rarely planned but happens a lot. Does this mean I am not Jungian enough for the list? Of course whe is actually " less unfortunate " must depend on viewpoint and values. I tend to see those who live vividly as the least unfortunate of all -- dare I lower my brow enough to throw out a Kahlil Gibran line (brief Google excursion): But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure, Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing floor, Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears. Which may suggest that one can be Jungian without Jung? (And far less unfortunete in a sea of troubles than is commonly held.) Jane Axtell p.s. I am a bit awed to have snuck in the puppy door -- here I am in the same room as Alice Howell and other wise people.
