Guest guest Posted October 21, 1999 Report Share Posted October 21, 1999 I was taught differently in regards to ET administration of medications in terms of the maximum fluid volume allowed in one dose. We learned that at no time should greater than 10cc of fluid should be administered down the tube. Volumes greater than 10cc would be the equivalent of drowning your patient.
