Guest guest
An excerpt from an imaginative conversation based on this post .... .....So man is great,we're all gods, ok, ok., sounds great to me.....And we should all just imagine our dreams and they happen, poof, shhsamm ! I'm down with that, this is good stuff.. And then, the energy of the gods permeate us (swhoosh! )..Well, hmmm...I dunno.. maybe, but who am I to say? Ok, Ok... I'm with you brother. Uh,just one little, ya know, well, one little question, Why Aren't All of our Dreams Coming True?......Ohh,Ohh, nevermind, I know,I know...heh, heh, I just forgot, I just have to believe, right man? Yeah, that's it,that's the ticket.... Gail Emmensity of Man The Immensity of Man "When a man undertakes to create something, he establishes a new heaven, as it were, and from it the work that he desires to create flows into him... For such is the immensity of man that he is greater than heaven and earth." _Paracelsus_ To me, Heaven is the Light of the Universal Spirit within the infinite "inner" celestial space within us all. What I believe Paracelsus is saying, is that man, through will and imagination, can manipulate this light and arrange it in his visualization to form an image within and above him, as it were a heaven. That is, cosmically form the pictures of his desired work already being accomplished in heaven. From this (re-established) or new heaven, will flow energy, inspiration, and power to accomplish the work on earth. In fact, the work will manifest, through cosmic law. For As above, So below. What is established in heaven shall be established on earth. In this way, man is greater than heaven, for he can wield and cast heaven to his own will. Heaven is within him, the angels, the cosmic, and all powers are within him. He is truly and veritably a universe (microcosm), with all the magnificence and power of the Macrocosm. Guest guest
LOL What always struck me is this. When I was young, I didn't have many beliefs about who I was, what I wanted to happen or whatever.....maybe, less than other people. At least, not on a verbal level. Things happened which I never dreamed happening to me, so if we create our own reality....duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....Never had anyone explain that.....accept for the idea of karma...the aha moment......but, then I tend to think it is all happening simultaneously and that their are parallel universes (Gail, did you see Sliding Doors. I think you will like it). And someone wanna tell me that those kids starving with flies in their eyes are creating their own reality. Give me a break.(whoops sarcasm) The only way one can, IMHO, conceive that is if they believe in Karma. I would not dare to put another link up here, but if anyone is interested look at 'The Miniature Planet' . It breaks the world statistics to a community of 100 people and it is quit compelling. I don't know how any one could look at that or things of that nature and think we are creating our own reality. On my worst day, when there is the most garbage running through my brain, I could not conceive of creating this mess out there. Thank God.
