Guest guest
The Immensity of Man "When a man undertakes to create something, he establishes a new heaven, as it were, and from it the work that he desires to create flows into him... For such is the immensity of man that he is greater than heaven and earth." _Paracelsus_ To me, Heaven is the Light of the Universal Spirit within the infinite "inner" celestial space within us all. What I believe Paracelsus is saying, is that man, through will and imagination, can manipulate this light and arrange it in his visualization to form an image within and above him, as it were a heaven. That is, cosmically form the pictures of his desired work already being accomplished in heaven. From this (re-established) or new heaven, will flow energy, inspiration, and power to accomplish the work on earth. In fact, the work will manifest, through cosmic law. For As above, So below. What is established in heaven shall be established on earth. In this way, man is greater than heaven, for he can wield and cast heaven to his own will. Heaven is within him, the angels, the cosmic, and all powers are within him. He is truly and veritably a universe (microcosm), with all the magnificence and power of the Macrocosm.
