The Dr. has never called any of my pains fibro. but the Lyrica does help. I have a lot of the side effects though. Weight gain, I eat all day and night.......LOL...... sleepyness, I have reduced my mg. Some swelling in my ankles. Other than that it works great for me. Before if I was even lightly poked in my sides or back I would jump and the pain would stay for at least an hour. Now that has gotten to be much better. Take care, Kim C. **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Kim, How many mg of lyrica are you taking? I just went up to 100 mg today and so far haven't any side effects, but I have noticed a definite difference in both my mood and my pain levels. Chelle [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Chelle, I was taking 300 mg a day, but was dropped to 225mg. It makes me soooo sleepy. I agree with you though, it helps me also mood and pain so I just try to rest when I can and sometimes, I can't nap, but I will continue to take it as long as I am having more positive results than negative!! One of the few meds that actually do help.So as long as I can i will take it. I also think the cymbalta helps the mental side. The pain reliever factor I have not felt change. Little baby steps towards relief, I think as we all are hopeful that our meds new or old will give relief. Any is better than none!! Hugs, Kim **************Start the year off right.
