work on the work, playing the work

After reading Rosemarie's posting and then 's:

It occurs to me more forcefully today that I was initially " seduced, "

" attracted, " " drawn " by the Work because of its name. I'm really,

really fascinated by the word, the concept. I harbor the illusion that

I can fix my relation to work through the Work. I'm obsessed with my

(in)ability to work. I get stuck, or so I imagine, when I do the Work

on work. " Do the Work " has such a (Protestant) work ethic serious

adult dry oh-save-me-now tone to it, I have a love/hate reaction to

it. So, , how do I do the Work on play if I have to call it the

Work? I'm not being facetious. I just can't express well yet something

that feels really big and wants to, I hope, resolve itself.

Many thanks.

Nina
