Guest guest
>Sam: I feel for how you felt!! Hi marte, all, Sometimes I just have to step back from all the madness for a while and let the world go on without me. If that means it goes to hell in a hand basket for lack of my participation in it, well... *S* It was here before I appeared on the scene and, no matter how bleak things sometimes look, I feel confident it'll be here when I leave the stage. And, marte, I'm glad you made such a lovely re-connection with your friends. Ain't it grand when this happens? > the standard test measure I used (the one time I took such a test) was not Myers-Briggs >but Gray-Wheelwright. Just before I signed on and read this post, marte, I had a bit of thought and, while I'm sure my insight isn't new to folks here, I'll just jot it down anyway. It expresses why I don't place a fixed faith in any of the various typings of people, whether it's through Myers-Briggs or colors or what kind of food you prefer. LOL I think maybe astrology comes closer to fitting my thoughts than anything, depending on how you use it, of course, and maybe not even that, since I know next to nothing about astrology. So, my thoughts, for you and you, too, Eve: Human beings are processes, not static states. That means that attempts to define them, whether with Jung's typology or Myers-Briggs tests or by specific colors ascribed to them, are true, if at all or ever, for only a moment in time. My aura might be purple now and yellow when I'm thinking or green when I'm feeling especially loving. Things change, human beings change. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! For now. *G* Blissings, Sam Don't believe everything you think. ~ Bumper StickerMany of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view. ~ Obi-Wan Kenobi Choose your illusion carefully. ~ UnknownWho looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. ~ C.G.
