It's the first time I've seen the eightfold path stated simply and unadorned, and in all the clamor and pain right here on this list right now over all the agonies people are suffering (and I suspect most " fire sitters " , for Greg's recent use again of that image, are more than just " aware of " the suffering, but are suffering [mitGefuehl?!] also in the sense most of these posts have been referring to) I personally am most particularly grateful for your having presented these Buddhist tenets as your " window on " (preface to) the article.
