Thanks to everyone for your in-put and advice. It means the world and has

made me feel better about my decision.

I have noticed mother getting worse just in the last few days. Her appetite

is going away and this worries me. Should I start her back on the Meg ace? She

still has almost a whole bottle left over from when we took her off of it a

few months ago. She did really well on it but I was hoping that she could

maintain a healthy appetite without it so that that would be one less pill she

had to take everyday.....sigh....

She has been getting depressed, wheepy, then really hateful. I have to watch

my temper, I get so stressed out because she really knows how to push my

buttons. I threatened to leave and not ever come back and then felt like a real

a$$ after I said it. We hugged and said sorry and forgot it happened.

She is also complaining of pain a lot more and is getting more confused. She

asked for my sleeve the other day and I asked why and she said " so I can use

it to wipe my nose " .

Hugs, Pammie, proud daughter of the " Little Queen " , 76 years old, Diagnosed

with LBD in the fall of 2007, currently taking Avapro, Aricept, Risperdal,

Foltrin, Verapamil ER, Nexium, Prednisone, Ketoprofen and Boneva.

Hey Pam,

Whenever we see a definite decline in our LOs we usually recommend a test for

UTI,

urinary tract infection. This alone can take them down significantly very

quickly. I know

there are med changes going on, but I would not rule out a UTI. Med changes can

also

make a huge difference in capability. We need to deal with 1 med change at a

time, hit a

baseline, before reintroducing anything else, so you know what is causing what

behaviours.
