Subj: Request for M.D. advice

Hi all,

I am new to this group and here only for advice about doctors. I

(thank God) do not have chronic pain, but have a psychotherapy client

with RSD. I am trying to find a new doctor for her. She also has a

severe dissociative disorder (survivor of torture as a child) that

further complicates her ability to get reasonable medical care. Her

wonderful internist stopped practicing about a year ago, passing her on

to a different doctor who is not working out. She needs someone who

will be sensitive to her psychological difficulties in addition to the

RSD and be willing to continue her methadone prescription. She lives

in Madison, WI and preferably could find someone in the UW system. Any

ideas?
