Guest guest
There are many captivating images in Bruce's The Daughter of the Moon and as he said, one of them inspired the painting that is on the book cover. More than two decades ago I had an important dream and had always wanted to express it in a painting but never felt properly moved to do it. Then I read Bruce's description on p. 74 of the sun's corona during a total solar eclipse and the painting began to form in my mind's eye. If you know a little about astronomy, you will see that the resulting painting doesn't show a normal total solar eclipse. There is a secret about the image for the viewer to discover. For me, his words are a continuation of the mystery presented in Aurora Consurgens which von Franz considered so important. Carol
