I would guess that mediastinum would be more appropriate...listen again and

see if it fits.

Spiculated is correct. The mass looks like it has little tentacles

coming from it. I have always had trouble describing what spiculated

looks like. This almost certainly represents malignancy. This term is

listed in my Stedman's Radiology & Oncology words and I heard it often

when I was working as an x-ray tech.
