Guest guest
Hi: Chest x-ray on 5/15/00 shows " cardiac silhouette and media sign " unchanged since 12/30/00. Is this right? Thanks so much.
Guest guest
I would guess that mediastinum would be more appropriate...listen again and see if it fits. Good luck, Jude chest x-ray > Hi: > Chest x-ray on 5/15/00 shows " cardiac silhouette and media sign " unchanged > since 12/30/00. > Is this right? > > Thanks so much. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Find long lost high school friends: > http://click./1/4056/1/_/9092/_/959488844/ > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > NMTC Web Page - http://go.to/nmtc >
Guest guest
Spiculated is correct. The mass looks like it has little tentacles coming from it. I have always had trouble describing what spiculated looks like. This almost certainly represents malignancy. This term is listed in my Stedman's Radiology & Oncology words and I heard it often when I was working as an x-ray tech.
