Guest guest
I just love how anything, including this group, can be 'worked', as long as I'm open to it. With thanks to everyone that posts non-work messages :-) Jon ------------------------------- People should stick to the work in this group Is this true? Yes Can I absolutely know this is true? No, I can't know this is true – reality is that people don't and I can't know that it would be better if they did. How do I react? I feel tense, frustrated, I read postings and think " don't they get it, it's just a story – inquire! " I see people as unwilling to look at their beliefs. This belief brings me stress. Who would I be without this thought? More relaxed, chuckling, going with the flow a bit more. The image of a bunch of wood flying along a river comes to mind – over rocks, etc – going with it, enjoying the flow. Without this thought I see that everyone is doing their best, myself included. Everyone has their story, mine includes this original belief. Without this thought I don't feel the need to try and hold myself and the group members to some standard around doing the work. Turnarounds: People shouldn't stick to the work in this group Yes, this is truer, this is reality – people don't stick to it, including me – sometimes I inquire into beliefs, other times I don't want to. It's better for me that people don't stick to the work in this group because I get to see how ineffective it is to not apply the work, how the stories and suffering perpetuate – it provides more evidence of how effective the work is for me compared to other ways. I should stick to the work in this group Yes, definitely truer – I'm sure there'll be plenty of people that agree with this turnaround :-) Lead by example and all that, catch my stressful thoughts early on, rather allowing them to grow and fester.
