I recently finished a book of poems (some of which I have posted here) entitled

The Daughter of the Moon.

(The book can be purchased via a link here:

http://books.fourcircles.org/

as well as another poetry project, The Long Loop.)

The art on the cover is a painting by Carol Spicuzza entitled Time-release and I

have posted an image of the painting here:

(It appears in Jung-Fire's " Photos " pages in the " bruce4j " album.)

I told the story here of traveling to see Carol last October (message #29445

" Subtle Wind " ). Earlier in the year I had sent Carol the manuscript of The

Daughter of the Moon and discussed with her the possibility of using an image of

one of her paintings on the cover. During the October trip she suggested I might

want to wait as she had an idea for a painting based on one of the poems. I was

delighted, and the painting Time-release was the result.

More of Carol's paintings can be seen at her web site:

http://www.carolspicuzza.com

along with her commentary on the paintings. She shares a remarkable story there,

and her images have been a significant part of my like for many years now.

I posted a poem here in December (message #29433 " 'Life goes on...' " ). This poem

and others I wrote about my wife's illness and death can be found in The Long

Loop.

Blessings Fire-Sitters, and my thanks for your many kindnesses over the years.
