Guest guest
Hi everyone, With all the posting regarding various anti-depressants, I was curious to know if anyone has had any experience with Wellbutrin. My psychiatrist originally started me on the tri-cyclic anti-depressants (Elavil, Pamelor, Desipramine, etc...) but I could never tolerate them. I finally went on Prozac with great success. It definitely minimized my pain. I've been on it for over a year now but feel it's not working as well as it used to. My pain hasn't increased but my depression has. The psychiatrist told me that being on the same anti-depressant for over a year can lessen it's effectiveness over time and switching to another usually helps. He really wants me to try Wellbutrin because his patients usually respond very well to it, in particular his Vulvodynia patients. Wellbutrin has less side effects than the SSRI's and there is no loss of libido. Has anyone on this list ever tried it? Is so, I'd love to hear feedback. Thanks, Debra deb.leigh@...
