Guest guest
This is still the report with the " white consults " . I have two questions. He is able to feed himself; and while lying in bed he is unable to dorsiflex and " plen-a-flex " except about 3-4/5, but when the patient decides to get out of bed, he is able to swing his legs over, stand up, support his weight, and pivot into the chair. " dorsiflex and ? the range...she says " three to four out of five " What is the correct/acceptable way to transcribe a range like that. 3-4/5 makes me think of a fraction...should you use numbers....3 to 4 out of 5... any help appreciated! Guest guest
dorsiflex and plantarflex. I usually put 3 to 4/5, but I am not held to the AAMT guidelines at my job. I do not know what their guide would be on that one. I use 4/5 for strength or 4+/5 all the time, and also 2/10 for pain ratios, all dictated as 4 out of 5 or 2 out of 10. Carol V. P.S. I have come across plantarflex as one word in some dictionaries, but in others it is hyphenated as plantar-flex, so it might be that way in your spellcheck. >>> " Carpenter " 08/04/00 08:33PM >>> This is still the report with the " white consults " .
