Hi Tommie

Yes I am on blood thinners - coumadin. I'm taking the lowest dose

possible because of internal bleeding that shows up as black and

blue marks. I have Factor V Lieden disorder. It's a rare genetic

blood disorder. My older brother and a younger sister also have

it. This is my second go around with a blood clot since August 2006.

crutches! I know that makes you happy too. We always love to see

progress! :) Are you on blood thinners to keep it from returning?

get one. My mom use to get them, so I know I'm more prone to get

them than some others. I do take baby aspirin everyday.

hearing date and 2 yrs all together to get approved. I had appealed

twice on my own, then got an attorney. He has handled 2 of my

sisters cases too and working on the 3rd one. He is really good and

gets them done faster than doing it on your own. I waited until I

was at the hearing level to get an attorney. One of my sisters hired

him after being turned down once, she was then approved within 3

wks. Didn't go past that. Another sister was approved in a short

period of time too. Now the 3rd sister, she attained him after the

first denial and I think her approval will be coming by the end of

this month. It's taken 6 months on her. Not bad, better than 2 yrs.
