True. That's easier and easier to forget these days as more people

have access, but there are still some without. There *is* a way to

use search engines via e-mail (at least there used to be), and I'm

currently trying to dredge up that info. If I can locate it, I'll

post it here if there's interest, or set up an auto-responder to mail

the file out to those who request it.

Your other point here is well-taken, though. For those who *do* have

web access, learning the finer points of researching terminology,

procedures, etc., whether via resource sites or search engines, is

vital to an MT these days, at least IMO. I think sometimes we give up

our searches a tad too quickly. Then, too, sometimes the answers that

come across here are incorrect, as well (though usually corrected by

someone else soon enough), and it's nice to be able to verify these

things with another authoritative source.
