Jayni, all that " nonsense " is formatting instructions. It looks

like somehow you opened or somehow saved the document as text

instead of a Word document. Did you save it with a .doc extension

or .txt or something else?

More MS Word Problems

I am so distressed. I worked much of yesterday on a document in

Word.

I printed out a draft of it and it was beautiful, complete with

all of

its outlining, etc.

This morning when I opened it, all of the indentation and

outlining

(extensive -- this was a forensic psychiatric assessment for the

court

system) is gone, as is the centering for the heading, etc.

Added, however, is a bunch of nonsense -- some at the beginning

of the

documents, PAGES of it at the end. Here's a tiny sample:

Can any of you who routinely use word tell me what on earth I'm

doing

wrong?

It's probably going to take me hours to reconstruct this with my

Word

inexperience, and I'm drowning in work. Once I get it fixed, I

don't

want to lose it again.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Jayni
