Guest guest
(I'm updating Geri Hall's post so that I can keep saving them in the links w/out having her expired contact info on the post) >Just a quickie to let you all know that mom has started walking by >herself! It's weird. The only LBD problems she seems to have at this >time is her head is still hung low. She always has aches and pains, >especially legs and head. She will hallucinate it not taking her >Seroquel. She takes it most of the time just doesn't take all her >vitamins. She is determined to get better. I guess we'll see. Her >mind is so sharp about so many things, it's unbelievable. See ya, >take care, Remissions and exacerbations are a hallmark of LBD. So I am not surprised she is walking again. Her aches and pains are probably the result of her Parkinsonism (plus any arthritis she may have). I would make sure to put her on a pain pill, like Tylenol, every six hours so she doesn't have to suffer or ask for it. What we do in cases like this is to treat the pain before it starts so it is manageable. Remember that preventing pain is far far easier than treating it. Best wishes.
