Guest guest
I recently had an MRI, due to an auto accident. Following the MRI, I was told I have a 6-7mm herniation below the formen Magnum. I have no syrinx, and my brainstem is fine, and forth ventrical is intact. I was diagnosed with Borderline Chiari I. I did some web research on Chiari, and it scared the living daylights out of me. I'm not very symptomatic, besides regular headaches for my entire life, and tenitus. My Orthopedist told me to see a Pneurological Surgen for an opinion. I made the appointment, but wanted to get feedback from anyone who's had diagnosis along the same lines. Also nothing I read tells me if this progresses, at what rate, if it grows etc... From what I read anything above 5mm is considered Chiari I (which isn't borderline) but you might know better than I. Thanks, Brent
