Guest guest
Norman passed away(or passed out as my 5yr old grand-son said)on 11/15/2008 after a 3 week hospital stay.In the end it was a sneeky ITU that got him.It came on quickly and in 24 hrs he was virtually gone.He remained in the hospital with a DNR for just 3 weeks. He did well on Exelon and was one of the few who did extremely well on Respirdone. He did not tolerate Sinemet at all.He was dx'd 4 years ago.LBD is like a swing. You can be way up high and then when you get really low you don't go back to the same height.I was his 24/7 caregiver for all but his last 3 weeks and wouldn't have traded a minute of it.I was fortunate that I didn't work outside the home. He is deeply missed but in my heart I know he's in a better place. Jackie
