Guest guest
I agree that the natural Aloe can act as a laxative, that's why I use the freeze dried!! The main 'healing' ingredient (beta-mannan) is used and freeze dried immediately. The other ingredients are removed. (at least in the brand I use, Aloteks) the only thing in mine is beta-mannan, Vit E, and betaglucans in a rice flour base. (careful if you're allergic to Vit E tho) Studies show the healing ingredient in Aloe Vera deteriorates rapidly within a few hours. That's why I no longer use just the natural plant, (not as effective) Aloe Vera has over 200 different compounds and some have a laxative effect, and others can cause allergic reactions. Anyway that's my 2cents worth, and I KNOW its helped me tremendously!!! Warmest, Dee Re: aloe From: taurusryc@... Aloe acts like a laxative. Has it done that to you? I never take laxatives because they make me burn, not only at my rectal area but all the way back to my vulva area. Ora > > > Hello, > I have been drinking aloe for my stomach.
