Hi everyone

Had to say this after reading some of the post. Ralph

was a truck driver. He has been doing this for 16 yrs

and has never considered anything else even though it

takes him away from all of us. Ralph and I have been

married for 1 yr last august and have been together

for 2 yrs. We have his son, my son and daughter and

our 11 month old daughter. He cant work because of

his pain and fatigue and he still has 85% kidney

function with only one kidney working.

It hurts to see the look in his eyes when he sees a

semi and I can see how much he would love to be out

there again. I on the other hand love having him

home. This is not the life we had planned but this is

what we have and Im very grateful that even though it

is different, he is still here and we have the time

together as a family. Unlike someone suddenly dieing,

we have time to live together and say and do things

for a long time to come. So we need to look at what

we still have not what we have or are losing.

Connie
