Seattle 6.4 Earthquake - Checking In

Just wanted to let everyone know I am okay. My mom sent a quick message so she

and my husband are fine. My father is well-prepared for earthquakes, so I

assume he's okay too, but no word from him yet. I came home immediately to

check on the dog. He's okay too. Stuff is thrown about all over the house, but

no structural damage and only one wine glass from our wedding broke. Going to

keep this brief and go clean up the mess.

If you know anyone in the Seattle area, please DO NOT CALL THEM on the phone.

Wait until tomorrow or the weekend. Emergency crews are asking people to stay

off the phone lines. I am only emailing you because I have a cable modem, so

this isn't blocking the phone lines.
