Guest guest
Okay, I guess this could be cleared up if I did my own work on it, but lately I'm having a hard time being around people who still live with so many stories. I like the weather, be it cloudy, snowy, rainy, etc. I have a temp job answering phone calls from people wanting to pledge to support public tv. For 4-5+ hours I'm sitting at a phone bank, with people next to me. We're only busy when the station's show has a pledge break, so for much of the time we're not on calls. My neighbors are sometimes so into their stories, and go on and on about; weather, politics, economy, etc - whereas I don't have any interest in this stuff. Okay, again probably I'll work through this when I do the work, but til then, anybody else out there finding it hard to be around others, now that you've been doing the work and aren't nearly so caught up in stories? People shouldn't be stuck in their stories. Is that true? No I should like being around people who are stuck in their stories. Is that true? No, it's not, because reality is I don't. Okay, that's a little progress for me. Storyteller
