Guest guest
Yes, don't you just hate reality, always being so right all the time, regardless of what it's doing? Urgh..... Recently, I've liked reminded myself that everything is god/goddess - 2 year olds screaming, homeless people and old people that smell of urine, mobile phones ringing.... All god, waking me up to my subconscious, stressful thoughts... > > I liked: > > " reality is always right " >
Guest guest
from Question Your Thinking, in the section on Parents and Children. (and I swear that I just opened the book and this is the first quote I read - feels apt given the thread on " wants " , etc) Jon ------------------- My children tell me what they want all the time. And I just hear them. What does that have to do with me? They're just expressing their wants. Those wants are their property. I have mine, and they have theirs. When they give me their wants, can I just listen, without thinking it's about me? That's what we all want from our parents: just someone to hear us and understand. We may think we want other things, but that's what we really want.
