Hi Tommie

I get swelling and discoloration (red/purplish/blue) in my feet and

ankles when I'm on them alot. It doesn't happen too often as I'm

off of my feet with them elevated for most of the day. I haven't

had any swelling in my calf. I do have tremendous swelling in my

right knee which I just found out this morning is due to arthritis.

The Dr. thinks that it could be OS. My knee feels like it's the

size of a basketball. It's been that way since Thanksgiving.

in your ankles, feet and calves that is only relieved by putting

feet above heart? I have Neuropathy in my feet due to a very bad car

wreck back in 2000. And I have this problem with my feet. Of course

the foot problem came before the Diabetes and I've been tested twice

for Diabetic Neuropathy and both times it was negative. So we assume

it is from this wreck. I broke one foot in 4 places and both ankles

were so severely sprained I didn't walk for 5 months and it was 7

months before I got out of the air casts. It was horrible. I'll

never forget it and my feet and ankles were swollen the entire time.
