Guest guest
Dayle I am just so glad that you are letting us know how you were doing. Like I said before, I was wondering and worrying. The situation in Chicago does sound nice. You would be in a nice home, no rent to pay, etc. But I do understand not wanting to leave your family. I am an hour away from most of my family and that bugs me. So I can see your point there. You sound like you have a great family! They all sound very worried about you. It's so hard when our life as we knew it is taken away from us. I know the feeling. One day you are active as can be and then you all of a sudden can't do those things anymore. I deal with that all the time. I don't think you are being selfish at all by talking about yourself. Everyone has some time in their life where they need help. Don't be ashamed of that or feel bad about it. There are people everywhere that have problems, but you still need to take care of you. As for the people whose job it is to help you out hanging up on you?? What is going on with that? I would call back and speak with their supervisor. That is unacceptable. Even if they can't help you, they should be giving you names/numbers of people that can. That is what they are there for!!!! The single wide in the mobile home sounds promising. I know money is an issue, could either of your kids help you out for a while? You said your daughter is helping you look for work. Could you do something that doesn't require a lot of physical activity. I know you like animals so what about a position at a Humane Society. Even if you were at the front desk. You would be around animals and working. Just a thought. I don't know what you can or can't do but just something I thought of. I know how you feel about animals as I'm a veterinary technician. I can no longer actively tech at a clinic or something similar. Which is what I have done for the past 11 years. I teach now which doesn't require me to do physical work but I miss it. Hang in there. You can do this. It's a bump in the road we call life but I have faith that you will get over that bump and continue on your road. Keep us updated! Guest guest
Hi , You know, I am so thankful for the friends I have on line. I appreciate that you and others listen to me and try to help me out, and how it touches my heart so much. I have vowed this year to try to make more friends, and get out more. I feel like I am lost in this body that doesn't seem to belong to me. It is so hard for me to accept what is happening to me. I have never been sick, no childhood diseases or broken bones, then I hit 43 and bam, everything under the sun. Along with the emotional roller coaster and losing my dogs and my car and now my home, its really hard. But you have all been so kind, and supportive. Some sites have been downright mean and judgemental. But I am so thankful for you and all my friends on line. I just wanted to share that. Thanks for all your support and encouragement. I'll make it ok. Best to all in the new year, Dayle > > Dayle > > I am just so glad that you are letting us know how you were doing.
